Samantha Verdadero, RDH, BSDH

Hello! I’m Samantha. I’m a dental hygienist with nearly a decade of experience in the field of dentistry. In that time, I’ve been a dental receptionist, dental assistant, dental hygienist (still am!), clinical educator, speaker, and writer. In almost every job I’ve had since I was 15 years old, I found that I do my job so well that I’m naturally appointed to be the one who gets to train the new person, therefore having natural job training instincts, which brings me to finally developing a platform where I am able to train and coach dental hygienists and dental teams!

My background/passion in healthcare started off as a volunteer for my local first aid and rescue squad in 2005, then later-turned Emergency Medical Technician until I started fully committing to the dental field in 2010. I graduated with my training and bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from New York University College of Dentistry in 2012 and since then it has been an adventure that has led me to amazing opportunities such as working for dentists of all skill sets, contributing articles to RDH Magazine and Today’s RDH, being a Hygiene Faculty member for Align Technology, Inc., and meeting colleagues who have encouraged and inspired me to follow my own path I call, “Truly RDH”.

The concept of Truly RDH has been developed in between patients, lectures, plane rides, long drives, and SoulCycle classes, but after 3 years of deciding what the fate of Truly RDH will be and putting a stop to the excuses, it is finally here. Whether you’re a dental hygiene student, new grad, practicing for 3 or more than 10 years or even a dentist, I’m here to connect with you and support your journey.
